Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar- Open Every Sunday May 2-December 19, 2010
The 33rd annual Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar offers fresh produce, meats, herbs, flowers, crafts and more!  As Maryland's largest producers-only market, visitors can enjoy a one-of-a-kind shopping experience with economical prices.

While strolling the market, shoppers can revel at the sight of the largest quantity of crisp fruits and vegetables, lean poultry and other meats, fresh baked goods, flavorful herbs, preserves and dairy and nut products.  Plus, food vendors add spice to the market with cultural cuisine such as popular pit beef sandwiches, pastries and gourmet treats.

Top local farmers provide organically raised and produced products including cheese, milk, yogurt, butter, eggs, beef, pork, lamb, bison, chicken, turkey and capon.  In addition, the market has complete selection of fresh fish available for purchase.

The bazaar offers shoppers a variety of unique crafts and collectibles great for gifts or home decor.  Handmade items include jewelry, handbags, hair accessories, chairs, rugs, pottery and wooden crafts, stained glass, and artwork such as photographs.

Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar Murals
Local artists painted several murals at the market this past season.  Check them out on your next visit!

Originally situated at Market Place so city residents could have fresh produce, construction forced relocation to Pratt and President streets in 1983. Increased popularity and the need of shelter prompted a move in 1985 to a larger space - its current location under the Jones Falls Expressway at Holliday and Saratoga streets.

On peak Sundays, more than 8,000 people attend the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar. Average attendance per year is more than 200,000. The market has previously taken place every year from the first Sunday in June to the Sunday before Christmas in December. The busiest day of the year is the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
